Shirene Regelin(mother of Petty Officer 1st Class Chad Regelin, who was killed in Afghanistan last month) called in this morning to thank the Northstate for all the amazing support she and her family have received in the wake of Chad's death.
We also wanted to remind everyone that donations are being taken to support a memorial fund set up for Chad. The money is being used to create a permanent memorial for Chad and make sure his family is able to attend the dedication. The rest of the money is being used to fund a scholarship in Chad's name at Anderson High School.
You can donate by going to ANY North Valley Bank location and asking to put the money into the Memorial for Chad Regelin Fund.
