Learn how to grow and cook with fresh seasonal produce in this 5-week series by CalFresh Healthy Living!
Wednesdays from May – June at 5:30PM inside the Redding Community Room!Each week participants will learn about the nutritional value and how to prepare a recipe with a seasonal produce item, and then participants will learn how to plant and grow that item at home. You do not have to attend the entire 5-week series. The Nutrition/Recipe portion will be from 5:30-6:30 and Garden portion will be from 6:30-7:30. Participants are welcome to come to both portions of the class or can come to one. Advanced registration is preferred.
