Presented in collaboration with Stand Against Stigma and Sunrise MountainWellness Center, the event highlights the intersection of creativity and mentalhealth, offering a welcoming space for self-expression and connection.
The evening begins with an Artists’ Reception from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, whereattendees can meet the featured artists and enjoy their work in a relaxedoutdoor gallery setting. At 5:30 PM, performers will sign in for the Open Mic,which runs from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM — showcasing spoken word, music,storytelling, and more.

Mental Health First Aid is a FREE training that gives peoplethe skills to identify, understand and respond to people experiencing a mentalhealth, substance use or suicide challenge.
Who should take the training? Everyone. It is not just for professionals.Community members, parents, volunteers, and more, will gain useful knowledgeand confidence to help someone in crisis. Adult Mental Health First Aid:
* Teaches risk factors and warning signs for adults
* Provides strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisissituations
* Gives resources for where to turn for help
* Focuses on recovery and resiliency – the belief that individuals experiencingthese challenges can and do get better and use their strengths to stay well
